TASI, Nomu down at Sunday's open

Riyadh- Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Sunday in the red after its benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) inched down 0.73%, or 54.36 points, to 7,348.8 points.

By 10:50 am KSA time, TASI’s trading volume amounted to 37.5 million shares at a turnover of SAR 687.4 million through 22,980 transactions.

The consumer services sector topped the market’s losers with 5%, followed by the medical, materials, telecommunications and banking sectors, which dropped 2.5%, 1%, 0.7% and 0.38%, respectively.

The media sector was TASI’s only gainer after adding 0.95%.

Al Tayyar Traveling Group’s stock topped the market’s losers sliding 8.04% to SAR 24.60.

Moreover, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, inched down 0.03%, or 1 point to 2,991.30 points at Sunday’s early trading.

Arab Sea's was  NOMU's only decliner with 1.67% to SAR 11.80.
