Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) closed Monday up after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) surged 0.45% or 33.35 points to reach 7,411.30 points, hitting its highest level since 3 July trading session.
TASI’s traded volume reached 144.5 million shares exchanged on Monday, against 128 million shares on Sunday, while liquidity increased to SAR 3.13 billion from SAR 2.68 billion.
The banks sector grew 1.1%, followed by insurance with 0.9%, utilities with 0.6%, materials with 0.35%, and telecommunication services with 0.02%.
On the other hand, the media and consumer services sectors decreased 2.5%, and 0.9%, respectively.
Amana Cooperative Insurance’s stock surged 9.9%, whereas Arabian Shield Cooperative Insurance Company’s stock tumbled 4.1%.
Al Inma Bank’s stock, closing at SAR 18.20, led TASI in terms of trading volume after 31.6 million shares were exchanged, generating SAR 563.16 million.
In the meantime, NOMU, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market went up 0.51% or 17.65 points reaching 3,502.74 points.
Nomu’s traded volume stood at 115,270 shares on Monday, against 69, 330 shares on Sunday, while liquidity soared to SAR 3.46 million from SAR 1.49 million.
Raydan Co, and Arab Sea Information System stocks’ gained 1.1%, and 0.4%, respectively, whereas Baazeem Trading’s stock shed 0.8%.
Raydan Co’s stock led Nomu in terms of trading volume with 61,350 shares were exchanged, while Development Works Food’s stock led in terms of liquidity with SAR 1.3 million.
