Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended Monday’s trading session in green territory, after three straight drops.
The benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) went up by 0.20 %, or 16.9 points, ending the session at 8,257.86 points.
TASI’s turnover increased to SAR 3.45 billion on Monday, from SAR 2.43 billion on Sunday, while trading volume levelled up to 125.95 million shares, compared to 99.55 million shares in the previous session.
The pharma sector topped the gainers adding 2.6%, followed by the utilities with 2.5%.
Meanwhile, the retailing sector headed the decliners falling 0.8%, followed by the real estate sector with 0.4%.
On the other hand, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, jumped by 4.3 %, or 165.24 points, finishing the session at 3,999.10 points.
