Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) declined on Sunday for the second session in a row.
The Tadawul All Shares Index (TASI) fell 0.82% or 56.29 points to close at 6,809.19 points.
Traded value on the main index slipped to SAR 2.41 billion ($643 million) on Sunday, from SAR 2.43 billion ($648 million) on Thursday. Trading volume reached 188.89 million shares, compared to 149.66 million shares.
As for the market sectors’ performance, 19 sectors closed down, led by utilities which lost 2.7%, followed by REITs with 2.2%.
Al Baha Investment and Development Company led decliners, sliding 9.95%, while Saudi Ceramics led gainers with 2.4%.
Dar Al-Arkan was the most active stock with liquidity of SAR 730.6 million, exchanged through 113.39 million shares. The stock closed at SAR 6.43.
Meanwhile, the Nomu parallel market index dropped 2.29% or 92.72 points to reach 3,955.35 points.
Turnover on Nomu went down to SAR 939,190 through exchanging 49,570 shares on Sunday, compared to SAR 1.03 million through exchanging 43,850 shares on Thursday.
Five stocks declined, led by Al-Omran Industrial Trading with 5.2% to reach SAR 23, while Arab Sea Information System solely increased 0.7% to stand at SAR 14.2.
Raydan led in terms of liquidity with SAR 309,840, while Arab Sea led in terms of volume through exchanging 18,990 shares.
