TASI, Nomu end Tuesday higher

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) closed Tuesday in the green after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) surged 70.8 points, or 0.96%, to 7,437.6 points, after dropping for seven consecutive sessions.

TASI’s trading volume stood at 133 million shares on Tuesday, against 122 million on Monday, while traded value increased to SAR 3.4 billion, from SAR 3.18 billion.

The insurance sector rose 1.7%, followed by telecommunication services with 1.6%, banks with 1.2%, and materials with 0.88%.

On the flipside, the consumer services sector levelled down 1.6%.

In the meantime, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, went up 14.7 points, or 0.47%,  to finish the mid-week session at 3,136.95 points.

Nomu saw trading of 64,000 shares, with a turnover of SAR 1.2 million.
