Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed Tuesday 0.28% or 20.28 points higher to reach 7,244.38 points.
TASI’s traded volume stood at 117 million shares on Tuesday, against 120.37 million shares on Monday, whereas liquidity rose to SAR 2.7 billion ($721.87 billion), from SAR 2.67 billion ($712 billion).
The utilities, banks, and materials sectors increased 1.92%, 0.81%, and 0.14%, respectively.
On the flipside, the food and staples retailing sector declined 1.85%, and the telecommunication services shed 0.3%.
Malath Cooperative Insurance Company's stock surged 9.92%, closing at SAR 16.40, whereas Sabb Takaful’s stock tumbled 3.55% to SAR 28.
In the meantime, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market (NOMU) levelled up 0.08% or 2.56 points reaching 3,335.01 points.
Abo Moati for Bookstores’ stock went up 1.72%, closing at SAR 11.80, whereas Al-Samaani Factory for Metal Industries’ stock fell 3.28% to SAR 59.
