Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) opened Tuesday down after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) edged down 3.3% or 0.04%, reaching 8,226.86 points.
By 10:40 am Saudi time, TASI’s trading volume reached 18.7 million shares, via 15,600 transactions, with a turnover of SAR 517.26 million.
The insurance sector decreased 1.89%, while banks inched down 0.01%.
On the other hand, the food and beverages sector rose 1.29%, followed by telecommunication services with 0.28%, and materials with 0.01%.
The Company for Cooperative Insurance’s (Tawuniya) stock was the worst performer after dropping 10%, whereas Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance Company’s (Enaya) stock led gainers with 9.95%.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, declined 1.8 points, or 0.06% to 2,815.78 points.
Development Works Food’s stock levelled down 3.23%.
