Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Thursday in the green zone after its benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) increased 0.34% or 23.28 points to reach 6,965.06 points.
By 10:41 am KSA time, TASI’s trading volume amounted to 28.67 million shares, through 14,590 transactions, with a liquidity of SAR 438.85 million.
The banks sector grew 0.6%, followed by materials with 0.52%, consumers and durables apparel with 0.51%, and telecommunication services with 0.05%.
On the flipside, the insurance and pharmaceuticals sectors lost 1.1%, and 0.7%, respectively.
Saudi Kayan Petrochemical’s stock rose 5.2%, whereas Malath Cooperative Insurance Company’s stock declined 5.1%.
Meanwhile, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, Nomu went up 0.16% or 4.83 points reaching 2,955.37 points.
Development Works Food’s stock surged 7.3%, followed by Raydan Co’s stock with 2.9%, whereas Arab Sea Information System’s stock fell 6.1%.
