TASI, Nomu go up at Wednesday’s close

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) closed Wednesday in the green after its benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) grew 0.13%, or 9.41 points, to 7,300.37 points.

TASI’s traded volume amounted to 158.78 million shares on Wednesday, against 167.96 million on Tuesday, while liquidity tumbled to SAR 2.89 billion ($771.47 million), from SAR 3.07 billion ($818.13 million).

The energy sector inched up 0.54%, followed by materials with 0.52%, and banks with 0.35%.

On the flipside, the insurance, real estate management and development, and telecommunication services sectors went down 1%, 0.86%, and 0.67%, respectively.

Rabigh Refining and Petrochemical’s (Petro Rabigh) stock increased 5.55% to SAR 18.64, whereas Dar Al Arkan Real Estate Development’s stock that declined 3.67% led TASI in terms of trading volume and value, closing Wednesday's session at SAR 9.97.

In the meantime, NOMU, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, added 0.45%, or 13.66 points, registering 3,036.68 points at close.

Al-Kathiri Holding Company’s stock edged up 0.44% to SAR 22.80, whereas Al-Omran Industrial Trading’s stock dropped 3.03% to SAR 16.
