Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) closed Monday with a positive performance after its benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose 10.71 points, or 0.12% to 9,276.5 points.
TASI’s liquidity grew to SAR 2.9 billion ($775.2 million) from SAR 2.5 billion ($665.87 million), while traded volume stood at 108.6 million shares, compared to 91.4 million on Sunday.
The software and services sector topped gainers with 8.6%, materials sector levelled up 0.34%, and telecommunication services grew 0.1%.
On the flipside, the consumer services sector was the worst performer with 0.76%, and the banks sector shed 0.01%.
Al Moammar Information Systems (MIS) led winners with 8.57%, whereas Alandalus Property Co led losers with 7.2%.
Al Rajhi Bank topped in terms of trading volume with SAR 263 million, while Alinma Bank led in terms of traded volume after 8.8 million shares were exchanged.
The main index of the Nomu secondary market, NOMU, went up 2.87 points, or 0.08%, reaching 3,602.66 points.
Thob Al-Aseel Company edged up 0.18%.
