TASI, Nomu grow at Sunday open

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) increased 0.08% or 5.80 points reaching 7,251.46 points in Sunday’s early trades.

By 10:52 am KSA time, the Tadawul All Share Index’s (TASI) trading volume reached 16.57 million shares, through 15,200 transactions, at a value of SAR 374.76 million.

The food and staples retailing, food and beverages, diversified financials, banks, and telecommunication services sectors rose 0.8%, 0.6%, 0.5%, 0.07%, and 0.03%, respectively.

On the other hand, the REITs sector fell 0.84%, followed by the consumer and durables apparel sector with 0.4%, and the materials sector with 0.04%.

Mediterranean and Gulf Cooperative Insurance and Reinsurance’s (Medgulf) stock led TASI’s risers with 4.2%, whereas MetLife AIG ANB Cooperative Insurance Company’s stock decreased 1.3%.

Meanwhile, NOMU, the main index of Nomu-Parallel Market, levelled up 0.35% or 12.40 points to reach 3,528.05 points.

Abo Moati for Bookstores’ stock went up 6.1%.
