Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s (Tadawul) benchmark and parallel market indices opened Tuesday’s session in the green.
The Tadawul All Shares Index (TASI) edged up 0.07% or 5.06 points to 7,067.23 points by 10:33am Saudi time.
Meanwhile, the Nomu-Parallel Market index gained 0.42%, reaching 4,988.67 points, on the back of four of its stocks, led by Arab Sea with 2.9%, whereas Omran was the sole decliner with 0.21%.
Turnover on Tadawul reached SAR 325.49 million after 14.81 million shares changed hands through 11,610 transactions.
Eleven sectors rose, led by healthcare with 0.60%, followed by utilities, banks, and telecoms with 0.4%, 0.26%, and 0.07%, respectively.
A total of 99 stocks were in the green led by Etihad Atheeb (Go) with 3.6%, whereas 49 stocks were down led by Eastern Cement with 7.7%. Eighteen stocks remained unchanged.
TASI last closed Monday at a slight rise of 0.05% or 3.59 points to 7,062.17 points, bolstering its position above the level of 7,000 points.
