TASI, Nomu inch down at Tuesday’s open

Riyadh – Mubasher: The main index of the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) fell 0.02% or 16.2 points, reaching 6,963.21 points in Tuesday’s opening session.

Traded value on the Tadawul All Shares Index (TASI) reached SAR 573.2 million, after 42.66 million shares were exchanged, through 10,200 transactions by 10:50 am KSA time.

The sectors dropped collectively, as the materials sector shed 0.14% and the telecom services sector inched down 0.03%, whereas the banks sector rose 0.22%.

Tihama’s stock led losers with 1.7% to reach SAR 37.80, followed by Saudi Fisheries Company with 1.6%, reaching SAR 28.35.

On the other hand, MedGulf’s stock surged 4.94% to reach SAR 16.98, followed by Al Baha Investment and Development Company which grew 4.23% to reach SAR 28.35.

The Nomu-Parallel Market index (NOMU) dropped 0.13% or 5.37 points to reach 4,111.74 points in Tuesday’s open.

Al Samaani’s stock was the worst performer with 1.65%, followed by Baazeem Trading with 0.67%, and Raydan Co with 0.09%, whereas Arab Sea increased 0.42%.

TASI closed on Monday rising 0.54% or 37.24 points, reaching 6,964.83 points, while Nomu closed in the red zone, dropping 2.4%.
