Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) opened Monday in the green zone after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose 0.2% or 14.40 points reaching 7,392.35 points.
By 10:38 am KSA time, TASI’s trading volume amounted to 22.35 million exchanged shares, through 13,200 transactions, generating SAR 419.32 million.
The commercial and professional services, food and beverages, banks, and materials sector went up 0.66%, 0.4%, 0.24%, and 0.15%, respectively.
On the flipside, the food and staples retailing sector lost 0.2%, followed by the energy with 0.17%, and telecommunication services with 0.1%.
Nama Chemicals’ stock was TASI’s best performer with 4.4%, whereas the Saudi Investment Bank’s stock fell 1.1%.
Meanwhile, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market (NOMU) increased 1% or 35.03 points to reach 3,520.12 points.
Raydan Co, Arab Sea Information System, and Abo Moati for Bookstores stocks levelled up 2.7%, 0.4%, and 0.17%, respectively.
On the other hand, Baazeem Trading’s stock shed 0.8%, and Development Works Food’s stock inched down 0.07%.
