Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) started Thursday on a positive note, growing 36.24 points, or 0.45% to 8,045.79 points by 10:50 am Saudi time.
TASI’s trading volume reached 17.5 million shares, through 12,670 transactions, generating SAR 453.3 million.
The materials sector rose 0.83%, followed by media with 0.59%, and banks with 0.45%.
On the other hand, the consumer services sector shed 0.1%, while telecommunication services slipped 0.04%.
Saudi Fisheries Company’s (Al Asmak) stock led gainers with 5.56%, whereas Saudi Company for Hardware (SACO) was the worst performer with 1.4%.
Meanwhile, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, inched up 1.54 points, or 0.05%, reaching 3,037.14 points, after Al-Omran Industrial Trading’s stock increased 2.51%.
