Riyadh- Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Tuesday down after its benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) retreated 1.5%, or 113.65 points, to 7,473.74 points.
By 10:55 am KSA time, TASI’s trading volume amounted to 73.5 million shares, at a turnover of SAR 1.4 billion.
The media sector topped the market’s losers with 2.4%, followed by the consumer services and health sectors, which declined 2.2% and 1.9%, respectively.
The banking, materials, and telecommunication services sectors decreased 1.7%, 1.4% and 1.3%, respectively.
The retailing sector was the bourse’s only gainer adding 2.3%.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, fell 1.1% or 35.3 points, to 3,050.8 points.
Arab Sea Information System Co's stock topped NOMU's four decliners after sagging 2%, while the stock of Al-Samaani Factory For Metal Industries Co spearheaded three risers after surging 15%.
