TASI, Nomu open Wednesday in red

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) started Wednesday 0.03% or 2.16 points lower to reach 6,882.74 points.

By 10:50 am KSA time, TASI’s trading volume amounted to 25.6 million shares, through 15,850 transactions, with a liquidity of SAR 455.82 million.

The health care equipment and services sector lost 1.4%, followed by media with 0.4%, pharmaceuticals with 0.3%, banks with 0.3%, and telecommunication services with 0.2%.

On the other hand, the utilities, diversified financials, and materials sectors went up 1.9%, 0.7%, and 0.3%, respectively.

Middle East Healthcare Co’s (MEAHCO) stock led TASI’s losers with 8.9%, whereas the Mediterranean and Gulf Insurance and Reinsurance Group’s (Medgulf) stock grew 3%.

Meanwhile, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU fell 0.11% or 3.34 points to reach 3,006.88 points.

The stocks of Al-Samaani Factory for Metal Industries and Abo Moati for Bookstores tumbled 2.9%, and 0.9%, respectively, whereas Al-Omran Industrial Trading’ stock increased 0.7%, and Raydan Co’s inched up 0.1%.
