TASI, Nomu rise at Wednesday's open

Riyadh – Mubasher: The main index of the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) increased 0.22% or 14.91 points to reach 6,835.51 points in Wednesday’s early trades.

By 10:37 am KSA time, traded value on the Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) reached SAR 142.45 million, with 6.79 million shares exchanged through 4,720 transactions.

The commercial and professional services, energy, consumer services, banks, capital goods, and telecoms sectors went up 0.37%, 0.34%, 0.30%, 0.23%, 0.23% and 0.07%, respectively.

The materials sector decreased 0.38% and the diversified financials sector fell 0.36%.

CHUBB Arabia Cooperative Insurance’s stock led risers with 3.6%, whereas Saudi Chemical was the worst performer, dropping 1.3%.

The Nomu parallel market index edged up 0.08% or 3.38 points to reach 4,032.48 points.

Arab Sea’s stock grew 1.4% to SAR 14.48.
