TASI adds 13 pts, Nomu plunges 49 pts at Tuesday’s close

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) closed Tuesday in the green after its benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) levelled up 0.17% or 13.01 points to 7,493.90 points.

TASI’s trading volume stood at 181.56 million shares on Tuesday, against 158.08 million on Monday, while liquidity increased to SAR 2.86 billion, from SAR 2.79 billion.

The retailing, healthcare equipment and services, telecommunications services, banks, and materials sectors went up 1.1%, 1%, 0.5%, 0.4%, and 0.06%, respectively.

On the flipside, the pharmaceuticals sector declined 1% and consumer services inched down 0.6%.

In the meantime, NOMU, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, went down 1.6% or 48.79 points, to close at 3,019.63 points.

Nomu’s traded volume amounted to 32,730 shares on Tuesday, against 39,230 on Monday, whereas liquidity grew to SAR 808,960, from SAR 769,340.
