Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) closed Sunday in the green after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) increased 0.22% or 16.74 points, reaching 7,538.38 points.
TASI’s trading volume rose to 181.9 million shares on Sunday from 159.7 million shares on Thursday, while liquidity grew to SAR 3.38 billion ($902.13 million), from SAR 3.19 billion ($850.93 million).
The diversified financials sector gained 5.94% as Kingdom Holding Company’s (KHC) stock was TASI’s best performer, surging 9.97%, followed by telecommunication services with 1.84%, and banks with 0.51%.
On the flipside, the healthcare sector shed 0.81%, while materials inched down 0.8% after the Saudi Basic Industries Corporation’s (SABIC) stock fell 2.82%.
MetLife AIG ANB Cooperative Insurance Company’s stock retreated 9.89%, reaching SAR 12.94.
In the meantime, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, slid 1.26% or 38.91 points to 3,058.61 points.
Al-Kathiri Holding Company’s stock tumbled 4.55% to SAR 21, whereas Al-Samaani Factory for Metal Industries’ stock jumped 14.77%, reaching SAR 81.90.
