Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) closed Sunday in the green after its benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) went up 0.25%, or 17.49 points, to 7,093.21 points.
TASI’s trading volume stood at 206.2 million shares, against 225.6 million shares in the previous session ended 14 December, whereas trading value decreased to SAR 3.5 billion ($933 million), from SAR 3.9 billion ($1.04 billion).
The transportation sector increased 1.61%, followed by materials with 0.71%, banks with 0.15%, and telecommunication services with 0.12%.
On the flipside, real estate management and development sector tumbled 1.35% and the consumer services shed 0.56%.
Yanbu Cement’s stock jumped 9.89% to SAR 29.10, whereas Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance’s stock levelled down 9.91%, reaching SAR 18.36.
In the meantime, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, grew 0.36%, or 11.01 points, to 3,071.54 points.
Abo Moati for Bookstores’ stock gained 5.31% to SAR 11.50.
