TASI adds 19 pts, Nomu stable early Tuesday

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Tuesday’s trading session with a positive performance after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) grew 18.5 points, or 0.23%, to 8,056.6 points.

By 10:30 am Saudi time, TASI’s trading volume reached 17.3 million shares exchanged through 12,900 transactions at a turnover of SAR 455.75 million.

The energy sector rose 1.01%, followed by the consumer durables and apparel, materials, telecommunication services and banking sectors with 0.56%, 0.51%, 0.23%, and 0.08%, respectively. 

On the other hand, the food and beverages sector shed 0.42%, while the consumer services sector decreased by 0.19%.

The Saudi Industrial Export Company’s (SIEC) stock led gainers with 5.25%m whereas Aseer Trading, Tourism and Manufacturing Company’s stock fell 1.19%.

Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, remained unchanged at 2,582.93 points.
