Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Wednesday in green territory, after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose 24.7 points, or 0.32%, to 7,857.66 points.
By 10:30 am Saudi time, TASI’s traded volume reached 25 million shares exchanged through 18,850 transactions at a turnover of SAR 435.8 million.
The consumer durables and apparel sector rose 3.1%, followed by the energy sector with 1.3%, while the materials, banking, and telecommunication services sectors added 0.57%, 0.1%, and 0.01%, respectively.
On the other hand, the pharmaceuticals sector shed 0.16%, while the healthcare sector fell 0.06%.
Saudi Fisheries Company’s (Alasmak) stock led gainers with 9.94%, whereas Bawan Company’s stock was the worst performer with 3%.
Meanwhile, Nomu, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, remained unchanged at 2,560.34 points.
