Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Wednesday’s trading session in green territory after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) levelled up 25.59 points, or 0.28%, to 8,422.99 points.
By 10:51 am Saudi time, TASI’s traded volume hit 23.3 million shares exchanged through 21,780 transactions at a turnover of SAR 479.85 million.
The media sector led gainers with 2%, followed by the food and beverages sector with 1.6%.
The materials and banking sectors increased by 0.3% and 0.11%, respectively.
On the other hand, the energy and utilities sectors shed 1.1% and 1%, consecutively.
Alujain Corporation’s stock topped risers with 3.8%, while Al Maather REIT Fund’s stock led losers with 1.1%.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, edged down 0.64%, or 0.02%, to 2,810.26 points.
Raydan Co’s stock went down 0.1%, while Arab Sea Information System’s stock rose 0.2%.
