Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) closed Tuesday in the green after its benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) increased 0.44% or 31.2 points to 7,177.6 points.
TASI’s trading volume stood at 188 million shares on Tuesday, against 166 million shares on Monday, while liquidity rose to SAR 3.5 billion, from SAR 3.1 billion.
The real estate management and development sector increased 1.5%, followed by utilities with 1.3%, banks with 0.41%, and materials with 0.33%.
The telecommunication services remained unchanged, whereas the real estate investment traded funds (REITs) decreased 0.74% and pharmaceuticals sector inched down 0.5%.
Dar Al Arkan Real Estate Development’s stock was TASI’s best performer after jumping 7.8%, reaching SAR 14.14, whereas Saudi Chemical’s stock tumbled 2.4% to close Tuesday SAR 32.55.
In the meantime, NOMU, the main index of the Noum-Parallel Market, surged 5.1% or 158.2 points, closing at 3,259.8 points.
Nomu’s trading volume grew to SAR 11.3 million on Tuesday, from SAR 1.8 million on Monday.
