Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended Sunday's trading session on a positive note, after its benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) jumped 42.68 points, or 0.51%, to 8,405.09 points.
TASI’s trading volume reached 108.87 million shares on Sunday, up from 106.46 million on Thursday, while the market's liquidity fell to SAR 2.6 billion ($700 million), from SAR 2.7 billion ($726.13 million).
The media, telecommunication services, banking, and materials sectors levelled up 4.16%, 0.67%, 0.56%, and 0.36%, respectively.
On the flipside, the pharmaceuticals sector shed 0.31%, while the insurance sector inched down 0.15%.
Saudi Industrial Export Co’s (SIEC) stock was the best performer after growing 10%, whereas Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance Company’s (Enaya) stock declined 2.41%.
In the meantime, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, levelled up 3.91%, or 0.14%, to finish at 2,850.03 points.
Baazeem Trading’s stock rose 1.76%, while the stock of Raydan Co edged down 0.45%.
