Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) opened Wednesday's trading session up after increasing 45.83 points, or 0.55%, to 8,452.73 points.
By 10:50 Saudi time, TASI’s traded volume hit 29.66 million shares exchanged at a turnover of SAR 602.7 million through 16,600 transactions.
The utilities, insurance, banking, telecommunication services, and materials sectors rose 1.12%, 1.06%, 0.82%, 0.29%, and 0.28%, respectively.
On the flipside, the media sector fell 0.36%, while the diversified financials sector shed 0.07%.
United Electronics Co.’s (eXtra) stock led gainers with 5.28%, whereas Saudi Cement Co’s stock declined 2.88%.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, plunged 53 points, or 1.73%, to 3,017.23 points.
Thob Al-Aseel Company’s stock dropped 3.02%, whereas the stock of Arab Sea Information System inched up 0.36%.
