Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) closed Sunday in the green after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) jumped 0.84%, or 59.23 points, reaching 7,144.74 points.
TASI’s trading volume amounted to 330.89 million shares on Sunday, against 342.99 million shares on Thursday, whereas liquidity increased to SAR 5.21 billion, from SAR 5.14 billion.
The real estate management and development sector grew 3.6%, followed by capital goods with 3.4%, materials with 0.9%, telecommunication services with 0.6%, and banking sector with 0.02%.
On the other hand, the retailing sector slipped 0.6%.
Saudi Amiantit Group’s stock levelled up 9.7%, whereas Saudia Dairy and Foodstuff Company’s (SADAFCO) stock fell 1.7%.
Dar Al Arkan Real Estate Development’s stock topped TASI in terms of trading volume after 77.97 million shares were exchanged, with a turnover of SAR 1.05 billion, closing at SAR 14.
In the meantime, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market decreased 0.04%, or 1.29 points, to 2,978.51 points.
Nomu’s trading volume reached 251,800 shares on Sunday, against 85,580 shares on Thursday, while liquidity grew to SAR 5.06 million, from SAR 1.92 million.
Al-Samaani Factory for Metal Industries’ stock tumbled 6.1%, and Baazeem Trading’s stock declined 2.8%.
On the other hand, the stocks of Raydan Co, and Arab Sea Information System gained 6.7% and 5.6%, respectively.
Al-Omran Industrial Trading’s stock led Nomu in terms of trading volume after 147,140 shares were exchanged, with a liquidity of SAR 2.19 million, closing Sunday at SAR 14.90.
