TASI adds 59 pts, Nomu stable early Monday

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Monday’s trading activities in the green after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) levelled up 58.6 points, or 0.69%, to 8,567.89 points.

By 10:40 am Saudi time, TASI’s traded volume reached 44.2 million shares exchanged through 27,100 transactions a turnover of SAR 749.2 million.

The capital goods, banks, and materials sectors went up 2.26%, 1.07%, and 0.53%, respectively.

On the other hand, the diversified financials and telecommunication services sectors tumbled 0.38% and 0.3%, respectively.

Saudi Steel Pipe Company’s (SSP) stock led gainers with 9.27, while Mobile Telecommunication Company Saudi Arabia’s (Zain) stock was the worst performer with 3.03%.

Meanwhile, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, remained unchanged at 2,836.69 points.
