TASI adds 71 pts, Nomu falls early Tuesday

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Tuesday’s trading in the green after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) jumped 0.90% or 70.62 points to 7,928 points.

By 10:45 am KSA time, TASI’s traded volume reached 39.5 million shares changed hands through 21,930 transactions, with a liquidity of SAR 878.36 million.

The materials sector rose 1.38%, followed by banks with 0.96%, and telecommunication services with 0.37%.

On the other hand, the food and staples retailing sector shed 0.52%, while transportation inched down 0.46%.

Yanbu Cement’s stock increased 4.4% to SAR 33.95, whereas Anaam Holding’s stock dropped 2.92% to SAR 12.36.

Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, fell 0.17% or 5 points to 2,981.3 points.

Al-Kathiri Holding Company’s stock went down 2.3% to SAR 22.66, whereas Abo Moati for Bookstores’ stock gained 4.18% to SAR 12.34.
