Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) grew 0.11%, or 7.83 points, to 7,199.41 points.
TASI’s trading volume stood at 224.7 million shares on Tuesday, against 242.37 million shares on Monday, while liquidity decreased to SAR 4.36 billion ($1.16 billion), from SAR 4.47 billion ($1.19 billion).
The real estate management and development sector rose 1.2%, followed by banks with 0.2%, and materials with 0.01%.
On the other hand, the transportation sector tumbled 1.17% and telecommunication services inched down 0.28%.
Makkah Construction and Development’s stock topped TASI’s gainers with 9.98% to SAR 81.90, whereas United International Transportation Company’s (Budget Saudi) stock levelled down 3.98%, reaching SAR 26.80.
Dar Al Arkan Real Estate Development’s stock led the bourse in terms of traded volume after 35.2 million shares were exchanged, generating SAR 460.77 million, despite falling 2.06% to close Tuesday at SAR 12.84.
In the meantime, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market jumped 1.14%, or 34.78 points, to 3,097.02 points.
Abo Moati for Bookstores’ stock surged 11.11%, reaching SAR 12.80, whereas Thob Al-Aseel Company’s stock dropped 1.88% to SAR 62.50.
