Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) surged 96 points, or 1.27%, to 7,658 points in Sunday’s early trades.
By 10:35 am KSA time, TASI’s trading volume reached 32.8 million shares changed hands through 20,000 transactions, with a liquidity of SAR 816.36 million.
The food and beverages sector rose 1.75%, followed by banks with 1.6%, telecommunication services with 1.56%, and materials with 1.37%.
On the other hand, the real estate investment traded funds (REITs) sector inched down 0.08%.
The National Petrochemical Company’s (Petrochem) grew 9.93% to register SAR 22.26, whereas Saudi Company for Hardware’s (SACO) stock shed 0.97% to SAR 123.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, slipped 2.66 points, or 0.09%, to 3,114.55 points.
The stocks of Arab Sea Information System Co and Abo Moati for Bookstores Co fell 2.6% and 0.8% to SAR 11.34 and SAR 11.20, respectively.
