TASI closes Monday down; NomuC rises

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) of the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) ended Monday lower by 17.36 points or 0.15% at 11,197.97 points.

The trading value amounted to SAR 8.54 billion after exchanging 225.55 million shares, compared to SAR 7.33 billion and 205.46 million shares a day ago.

The insurance sector headed the gainers with 3.32%, while the media sector was the top decliner with 2.46%.

Bupa Arabia topped the risers with 9.74%, while Eastern Province Cement was the top faller with 4.49%.

Middle East Healthcare (Saudi German Hospital) recorded the highest trading value and volume of SAR 398.32 million and 9.83 million shares, respectively.

Meanwhile, Nomu-Parallel Market Capped Index (NomuC) closed the session higher by 227.34 points or 0.94% at 24,506.26 points.

Canadian Medical Center headed the risers with 3.19%, while National Fertilizer was the only faller with 0.48%.
