Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) returned to gains on Monday, after four consecutive declines, as the TASI index closed at 7,971.93 points, rising by 0.24% or 19.41 points.
Traded volumes amounted to 120.65 million shares with a turnover of SAR 3.146 billion.
The materials and banks sector added 0.62% and 0.50%, respectively, and telecom levelled up by 0.19%, while the energy sector lost 1.22%.
MetLife was the session’s top rising stock and surged by 9.99%, while SARCO was the biggest loser and dropped 7.8%.
Al Rajhi logged the biggest turnover with SAR 292.7 billion, while Alinma was the most actively traded stock with 8.3 million shares.
Meanwhile, the parallel market index (NOMU) fell by 0.65% and closed at 6,925.7 points.
