Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended Monday’s trade in decline, after rising for two consecutive sessions, due to a mostly negative performance by main sectors.
The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell by 0.80% or 66.93 points and closed at 8,345.01 points.
Traded volumes decreased to 179.163 million shares, down from 190.67 million shares on Sunday, with a total turnover of SAR 4.26 billion, through 196,425 transactions.
The telecom sector lost 1.5%, while banks and materials plunged by 1.1% and 0.69%, respectively.
The energy sector index also slipped 0.49%, as Saudi Aramco fell by 0.71% and closed at SAR 35.15.
Alkhabeer REIT was the biggest gainer in today’s session, while Riyad Bank was the top loser as it dropped 3.5%.
Alinma was the most actively traded stock with 16.68 million shares, topping traded values with SAR 417.27 million.
Meanwhile, the Parallel Market Index (NOMU) fell by 4.65% and ended the session at 6,973.10 points.
