TASI closes Thursday in red zone

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) went down 1.84% or 230.01 points to close Thursday's trading session at 12,297.62 points.

Turnover amounted to SAR 15.41 billion after 384.60 million shares had been exchanged.

The consumer durables and apparel sector led the losers with 4.47%, while the energy segment came on top of the gainers with 1.48%.

Al Baha Investment and Development Co. topped the green zone with 1.60%, while National Gypsum Co. (NGC) headed the red zone with 3.45%.

 Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development Co recorded the highest trading volume of 77 million shares, while Al Rajhi Bank posted the highest turnover of SAR 3.65 billion.

As for the parallel market, the Nomu-Parallel Market Capped Index (NomuC) inched down by 1.84% or 467.07 points to stand at 24,942.10 points.
