Riyadh – Mubasher: The benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) of the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) closed Tuesday’s session 0.34% or 24.55 points lower at 7,227.96 points.
TASI’s liquidity increased to SAR 2.6 billion ($693 million) on Tuesday from SAR 2.27 billion ($605 million) in the previous session, after the trading volume decreased to 99.5 million shares from 111.16 million.
The energy sector led decliners with a fall of 3.52%, while the media segment topped five gainers with a rise of 8.57%.
Shaker Co led the losers, falling by 6.15% to close at SAR 12.82. Meanwhile, Saudi Research and Marketing was the top winner with a rise of 9.83% to close at SAR 58.10.
At the parallel market’s level, the main index (NOMU) closed Tuesday’s session 0.56% or 20.41 points higher at 3,685.02 points.
