Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Wednesday in the red after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) declined 0.3% or 24.17 points, reaching 7,098.89 points.
By 10:49 am KSA time, TASI’s trading volume amounted to 62.23 million shares, through 26,400 transactions, with a liquidity of SAR 1.02 billion.
The utilities sector dropped 9.1%, followed by the real estate investment traded funds (REITs) with 0.7%, energy with 0.6%, banks with 0.3%, telecommunication services with 0.2%, and materials with 0.15%.
On the other hand, the real estate management and development sector went up 1.4% and the consumer services sector rose 0.5%.
The Saudi Electricity Company’s (SEC) stock tumbled 9.4%, whereas Dar Al Arkan Real Estate Development’s stock increased 6.7%.
Meanwhile, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, inched up 0.04% or 1.33 points to 3,032.88 points.
Arab Sea Information System’s stock grew 3.9%, whereas Baazeem Trading’s stock fell 2%.
