TASI down, Nomu inches up at Wednesday’s open

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) tumbled 0.08% or 5.74 points, to 7,488.16 points in Wednesday’s early trades.

By 10:53 am KSA time, TASI’s traded volume hit 35.56 million shares, through 18,110 transactions, with a liquidity of SAR 531.714 million.

The pharmaceuticals, food and beverages, materials, banks, and telecommunication services sectors decreased 0.65%, 0.5%, 0.2%, 0.1%, and 0.1%, respectively.

On the other hand, the real estate management and development sector increased 0.3% and diversified financials inched up 0.3%.

Saudi Industrial Development Company’s (SIDC) stock fell 2.3%, whereas Al Rajhi Company for Cooperative Insurance’s (Al Rajhi Takaful) stock gained 4.8%.

Meanwhile, the benchmark of the Nomu-Parallel Index, NOMU, edged up 0.05% or 1.54 points to 3,021.17 points.

The stocks of Al-Samaani Factory for Metal Industries and Al-Kathiri Holding Company levelled up 8.2% and 2.1%, whereas Thob Al-Aseel Company’s stock went down 3.1%.
