Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Tuesday in the red after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) declined 10.94 points, or 0.14%, to 7,964.51 points.
By 10:40 am KSA time, TASI saw trading of 30.8 million shares changed hands through 20,300 transactions, generating SAR 688.8 million in a turnover.
The pharmaceuticals sector fell 0.66%, followed by telecommunication services with 0.45%, while the materials and banking segments dropped 0.23% and 0.17%, respectively.
On the other hand, the media sector rose 0.35%. The retailing sector inched up 0.34%.
Saudi Cement Co’s stock dropped 1.9% to SAR 51.40, whereas Ash Sharqiyah Development’s stock led gainers with 4.13%, reaching SAR 46.60.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, increased 7.47 points, or 0.26%, to 2,927.84 points.
Al-Kathiri Holding Company’s stock jumped 6.17% to SAR 25.05, whereas Al-Omran Industrial Trading’s stock fell 1.11% to SAR 16.02.
