Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Monday in the red after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell 0.2% or 15.50 points to 7,712.56 points.
By 10:43 am KSA time, TASI’s trading volume reached 27.44 million shares changed hands through 18,300 transactions, with a turnover of SAR 634.7 million.
The real estate management and development, pharmaceuticals, media, banks, and materials sectors decreased 0.7%, 0.7%, 0.43%, 0.4%, and 0.06%, respectively.
On the other hand, the insurance sector inched up 0.4%, followed by the healthcare segment with 0.3%, and the telecommunication services with 0.06%.
Saudi Vitrified Clay Pipes declined 2.5%, whereas Salama Cooperative Insurance jumped 7.2%.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, remained unchanged at 3,020.36 points.
Al-Kathiri Holding Company dropped 2%, followed by Development Works Food with 1%, whereas Arab Sea Information System edged up 0.4%.
