Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Thursday in the red after its benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell 0.5% or 38.68 points, to 7,736.74 points.
By 10:45 am KSA time, TASI’s trading volume hit 36 million shares, through 23,200 transactions, with a liquidity of SAR 866 million.
The insurance sector decreased 1.79%, followed by pharmaceuticals with 1.49%, telecommunication services with 0.73%, banks with 0.55%, and materials with 0.3%.
On the other hand, the media sector inched up 0.48%, while real estate investment traded funds (REITs) rose 0.22%.
Malath Insurance’s stock tumbled 9.95% to SAR 16.38, whereas National Medical Care Company’s stock increased 3.02% to SAR 59.70.
Meanwhile, Nomu, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, remained unchanged at 3,020.99 points.
Raydan Co’s stock dropped 1.16%, whereas Arab Sea Information System’s stock went up 1.23%.
