TASI down, Nomu up early Monday

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) opened Monday in the red zone after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) decreased 0.08% or 6.04 points to reach 7,396.98 points.

By 10:46 am KSA time, TASI’s traded volume reached 20.23 million shares through 16,280 transactions, generating SAR 462.1 million.

The transportation sector shed 0.83%, followed by media with 0.5%, banks with 0.13%, and materials with 0.1%.

On the other hand, the consumer durables and apparel, pharmaceuticals, and telecommunication services sectors rose 0.46%, 0.3%, and 0.2%, respectively.

Saudi Ground Services Co’s (SGS) stock led TASI’s losers with 2.4%, whereas Al Jazira Takaful Taawuni Co’s stock was the best performer with 5%.

Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market levelled up 0.17% or 5.92 points reaching 3,428.14 points.

Arab Sea Information System, Baazeem Trading, and Abo Moati for Bookstores stocks went up 2.9%, 0.8%, and 0.2%, respectively, whereas Al-Kathiri Holding Company’s stock fell 2.1%.
