Riyadh - Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended the week on a marginal decline.
The Tadawul All Shares Index (TASI) lost 0.35%, and ended Thursday’s trading session at 8,248.47 points.
The market capital decreased by 0.53% or SAR 10.46 billion ($2.79 billion) to a total SAR 1.944 trillion ($518.6 billion).
Meanwhile, traded values slightly rose by 0.25% to SAR 25.3 billion ($6.67 billion), while volumes went up 3.97% to 1.18 billion shares.
As for the market sectors performance, 14 sectors rose this week, led by media and publishing that gained 24.2%, followed by utilities with 5.5%.
On the other hand, seven sectors ended in the week in losses, with materials and health care losing 2.6% and 1.34%, respectively.
Telecom and banks slipped 0.07% and 0.05%, respectively.
The Nomu-Parallel Market rose for the third consecutive week, increasing by 2.6% and ending the weel at the level of 3,251.2 points.
