Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended the first trading session of 2020 in the red zone.
The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) declined by 0.36%, losing 30.38 points and closing Wednesday’s trade at 8,358.85 points.
Traded volumes stood at 146.5 million shares with a total value of SAR 3.232 billion.
The banks' sector plunged by 0.71%, while energy and materials lost 0.56% and 0.18%, respectively.
As for the stocks’ performance, 105 stocks closed in the green zone, while 74 ended the session in losses.
Saudi Cable topped the rising stocks as it surged by 9.91%, followed by SASCO with 5.57%.
On the other hand, SIIG was the biggest decliner and it lost 2.75%.
Aramco recorded the highest turnover with SAR 247.285 million, while Taleem REIT was the most actively traded stock with 16 million units.
