Riyadh - Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended the first day of the week in red, for the second consecutive session.
The Tadawul All Shares Index (TASI) went down 0.9%, losing 65 points, and closed at the level of 7,194.06 points.
Traded values amounted to SAR 2.56 billion ($682.4 million) at Sunday’s close, compared to SAR 2.77 billion ($739.47 million) last session.
Traded volumes totalled 110.45 million shares, down from 112.95 million on Thursday.
As for the sectors’ performance, all closed in red except for pharmaceuticals, which rose by 0.31%.
REITs led the decliners and fell 1.83%, while banks, materials, and telecom lost 1.25%, 0.97%, and 0.76%, respectively.
Today, 138 stocks closed in red, led by Southern Cement, which dropped 5.05%, closing at SAR 47, while only 33 stocks ended the session in green, with Chubb leading the gainers and surging 4.63% to the level of SAR 51.70.
As for the Parallel Market, the main index (NOMU) registered its third declined in a row, slipping 0.47%, or 15 points, and closing at 3,185.29 points.
