Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) opened Wednesday's trading session in red territory, after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) declined 5.95 points, or 0.07%, to 8,399.87 points.
By 10:35 am Saudi time, TASI’s trading volume reached 15.7 million shares exchanged at a turnover of SAR 371.2 million through 10,890 transactions.
The utilities, capital goods, and banking sectors went down 1.2%, 0.82%, and 0.24%, respectively.
On the other hand, the media sector rose 1.03%, followed by the materials sector with 0.12%, while the telecommunication services sector added 0.06%.
Saudi Cable Company’s stock was the worst performer after dropping 10%, whereas the Saudi British Bank’s (SABB) stock rose 2.86%.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, remained unchanged at 2,767.99 points.
