Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Wednesday in the red after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell 14.2 points, or 0.18%, reaching 7,966.97 points.
By 10:30 am Saudi time, TASI’s trading volume reached 15 million shares exchanged through 12,000 transactions with a turnover of SAR 360.4 million.
The consumer services sector inched down 0.81%, followed by the food staples and retailing sector with 0.7%.
The banking, telecommunication services and materials sectors dipped 0.24%, 0.23%, and 0.12%, respectively.
On the other hand, the energy and healthcare sectors rose 0.57% and 0.19%, respectively.
Alujain Corporation’s stock led losers with 5%, whereas Solidarity Saudi Takaful’s stock was the best performer with 2.4%.
Meanwhile, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, remained unchanged at 2,581.51 points.
