Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Tuesday’s trading session in the red after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) slumped 53.68 points, or 0.6%, reaching 8,379.41 points.
By 10:40 am Saudi time, TASI’s trading volume reached 16.3 million shares exchanged through 13,100 transactions at a turnover of SAR 291.44 million.
The pharmaceuticals, banking, and healthcare sectors levelled down 0.9%, 0.86%, and 0.7%, respectively.
On the other hand, the telecommunication services sector rose 0.19%, while the food and staples retailing sector inched up 0.07%.
The stocks of Riyad Bank and the Saudi British Bank (SABB) led losers with 3.1%, and 2.2%, respectively, while the shares of Al Baha Investment and Development and Anaam Holding were the best performers with 5.9%, and 2.5%, respectively.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, remained unchanged at 3,485.29 points.
