TASI edges higher, Nomu slips early Sunday

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) opened Sunday in the green zone after its benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose 0.08% or 5.25 points to reach 6,993.01 points.

By 10:56 am KSA time, TASI’s trading volume reached 26.09 million shares, through 18,280 transactions, with a liquidity of SAR 539.68 million.

The food and beverages, insurance, media, telecommunication services, and banks sectors increased 1.3%, 0.7%, and 0.6%, 0.4%, and 0.1%, respectively.

On the other hand, the pharmaceuticals sector shed 0.66%, followed by utilities with 0.4%, real estate management and development with 0.37%, and materials with 0.02%.

Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance’s stock surged 9.9%, whereas Al Khaleej Training and Education’s stock fell 1.9%.

Meanwhile, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, dropped 0.98% or 30.06 points to reach 3,033.56 points.

Thob Al-Aseel Company’s stock levelled down 1.4%, whereas Al-Kathiri Holding Company’s stock grew 2.7%, while Nomu’s other stocks remained unchanged.
